Music has always been a big part of both Robins and Pauls lives and at the age of ten, Robin was mastering both the guitar, drums and piano. When he was thirteen years old, he fell in love with electronic music – Project “Goggahs” was born – With this name he produced Happy Hardcore and Hands-Up!
It took a few years before he went public with the music, but then he decided to put it on youtube just to see what happened. As “Goggahs” – Robin has played at many parties and a festival in Gothenburg.
Paul also got in touch with music at a very early age, even fiddling with production at the age of ten when he found a piece of software called Dance Ejay. He made three dance/eurodance-tracks that even got previewed on a local radio station.
However, other priorities took over and music was left on the backburner until he discovered a CD called Thunderdome.. This is the moment in Paul’s life that would echo throughout his entire future. He fell in love with gabber and hardcore music, so much so that he even picked up the art of DJ’ing at the age of 15.
Fast forward a few years (quite a few), in 2010, Paul fell in love with yet another genre, namely Hardstyle. He quickly tried his hands on producing hardstyle and started his first project called Procyon. Not having much luck and getting stuck with different projects, he put the things aside, until he noticed an Anthem-contest for a big Swedish hardstyle festival where he decided to try his luck.
During the contest, Robin and Paul came in contact with each other for some random reason, and started talking online. A few months later, Robin started Alpha Omega – Focusing on producing Hardstyle with a unique twist. He made two tracks and uploaded them to youtube and sent the links to Paul, who liked what he heard and thought it would be cool to make a collab – Alpha Omega ft. Procyon (Pauls other project).
It all eventually ended up with Robin and Paul becoming a duo – Alpha & Omega was born.
